Double The Love - Two Pets

from $600.00

Our Double The Love Pet Portrait painting captures the essence of both your pets in a contemporary headshot or partial body style. Add a special touch with a flower crown, flower collar, bow, or bow tie.**

Each pet portrait is painted with professional-grade acrylic paint on a gallery wrapped canvas and is ready to hang right out of the box. The sides are painted to complement the artwork.

The Double The Love Pet Portrait is for 2 pets only.

** Custom modifications are available for an additional charge. Pricing is based on complexity and will be discussed with you prior to commissioning your painting. You will receive a separate bill via email for the approved charge.

PHOTOGRAPHS:

The most important part of your custom pet painting is the quality of the images you submit. The more individual hairs I can see, the more detail I can deliver! Please include or capture 5-7 photos.

Luckily, you don’t need to be a professional photographer to take great photos of your pet. Grab your smartphone and follow these tips and tricks to capture quality reference photos for your pet painting:

  • Position yourself to be eye-level with your pet. Don’t use the zoom function, instead, get closer to your pet.

  • A well-lit setting with natural light helps with color, quality, and focus.

  • The best poses are when your pet is sitting or standing. Bust shots (head + chest) make excellent pet portraits.

  • Use trigger words, a toy, or treats for alert eyes and ears.

  • Focus on the eyes, as they capture the personality the best.

  • No blurry photos. The more individual hairs I can see, the more detail I can deliver!

Not sure whether your images will work?

If you are unsure of the quality of your reference photos, email your images to info@carmavisions.com . I often paint portraits of pets that have crossed the Rainbow Bridge, so I understand it’s not always possible to follow the guidelines above.
