For the pairs who found their person, their place, their rhythm, and watched everything start to bloom around them. Two toucans leaning in, completely at ease. This is what flourishing looks like when nothing is forced. Painted for Toucan's Terrace at Tesoro Island Resort, a private island off the coast of Belize where every room was built around one animal and one feeling.
Field Note · Arizona garage studio, the second painting
My entire creative brief for an island resort was one word: vibrant. This was the second painting I made trying to answer it, right after the love birds. Two paintings in, the collection finally had a direction.

This is what the work does on a wall: you walk in and know, before you have thought about it, that you are somewhere alive.
