Some days I’m more wolf than woman, howling at the moon. Until I wrap myself inside your arms I cannot rest.
There’s a hauntingly beautiful howl that communicates a longing for something. A lone wolf is a wolf that is searching, and what it seeks is another wolf. Everything in a wolf’s nature tells us to belong to something greater than itself and the sentimental need for companionship. Wild and protective. Savage and nurturing. Lethal and tender – all the extremes you go to when you’re in love, the way it takes over and how that then turns into wanting to rip and tear.
